Art Nouveau Bear

This is a superb bear figurine made by KPM in about 1911 from the original period! He was designed in 1909 by Anton Franz Puchegger. It is the nicest bear they ever made being painted in the rare underglaze colors of the Art Nouveau period. Great modeling and detail! He is in perfect condition. The figure is 7.5 inches tall, 6.25 inches wide and 5.5 inches deep. The figurine is marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter as well as 140/237 in pink and in black (underglaze and above glaze). No orb painters mark yet as the blue orb for underglaze colors was not started to right after these were made. There is also an impressed set of marks like an impressed L as the date code, an M and an incised M15. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
