Turkey Scene Plate #2

This is a really nice Art Nouveau period plate made by KPM in the early 20th century. The plate is hand painted with two wild female turkeys in a landscape surrounding. The rim is decorated in the Jugendstil style with raised gold scrolls as well as some leaves and flwoers and a slightly greenish ground color between the scrolls which is hard to see in the pictures. A truly superb plate and it is in superb condition. The piece is 1 inch tall and 9.75 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter as well as the red orb mark as well as a painter's and a gilder's mark and the usual impressed marks of the period.
