Trude Petri Cookie Jar

This is a superb lidded dish (I believe it is meant to be a cookie jar) made by KPM in the mid 20th century right after WWII. The piece is hand painted with a spiralling red ground design popular on Trude Petrie designed pieces with an extra bonus of some painted design on top including a moth and some gold flwoers or grasses. A beautiful and useful dish that is in great condition with jsut some light scratches that do not distract from the piece! The dish and lid are 4.5 inches tall and 6.375 inches in diameter. The bottom is marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter with the S under it for Selb as well as the red orb mark, Made in Germany US Zone in green as well as the usual painter's, etc. marks.
