Trude Petri Butterfly Vase

This is a vase made by KPM in the mid 20th century right after WWII. It was designed by the famous Trude Petri and has a very rare design of hand painted butterflies all around on a yellow ground. A very modern and elegant design that is popular among collectors and it comes in many different painted versions this one being one I have never seen before. The vase is in perfect conditon except for two small paint flakes in the puce color of two butterflies which was painted over to hide them and it displays perfectly. The piece is 5.25 inches tall and 5 inches in diameter so a bit bigger than some of Petri's vases. It is marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter mark with the S underneath for the Selb location of the factory right around the end of WWII. It also has the red orb mark and some black numbers as shown underneath. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
