Superb Large Weichmalerei Vase

This is a superb vase made by KPM in the early 20th century in the Art Nouveau / Jugenstil period. It is the same shape as the smaller one I have on the site which is neat but much larger in size. The piece is handpainted with some very detailed and naturalistic flowers in pink, purple and blue tones on one side and purple on the other. Think they are mums on one side and violets on the other but don't quote me on that :) The colors are in the softer tones of the Weichmalerei style which is my wife's favorite! They look real enough to want to smell them. Superb handles and four feet are a nice addition and make this the perfect vase! The final touch is lots of gold detail much of which is raised and the areas in between filled with an off white color. Really an amazing and elegant piece! The vase is in perfect condition. It is 8 inches tall, 7 inches wide and 5 inches deep. The bottom is marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter with the letter E or C underneath (a bit blurry so hard to tell) as well as a gilders mark and the orb mark but it is only visible at the right agle to the light. Must have fired funny and disappeared mostly. No question this was painted by KPM and is first quality. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
