Nice Reticulated Basket

This is a superb reticulated basket made by KPM in the early 20th century. I ahve not come across this style basket before as most one sees are oval in shape and with flowers on the bottom inside. This one here I like much better. It is round in shape with two nice barnch handles ending in leaves and a puce berry, has a very nice reticulated edge all around with four cartouches on the inside surrounded by a nice gold trim with flowers and butterflies but the best part are the four floral panels on the outside of the piece. Just a superb piece all around! The basket is in perfect condition which is somewhat amazing :) The piece is 2.875 inches tall without the handles - add an inch for those, 9.25 inches wide and 8.5 inches deep. It is marked underneath with the under glze blue scepter mark as well as the red orb, the usual impressed marks as well as a painter's mark as shown.
