Superb Neuzierat Plate #5

This is a really nice plate made by KPM in the early 20th century. It is hand painted with a superb fruit / berries / flowers still life in the center covering most of the plate as well as a superb raised gold trim. The center design includes blackberries, medlar, a sunflower looking blossom, rose hip and another red flower and some leaves. These plates do look amazing on the wall. So much so that I amde a big display of them in our entranceway. Superb quality of the painting! The plate is in great condition with a very minor touch of wear mainly to one of the small red flowers as shown. The plate is 1 inch tall and 8.625 inches in diameter. The dish is marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter, the red orb mark, some painter's mark as well as the usual impressed marks of the period and the name of the blackberries and medlar in German - Brombeeren and Mispel.
