Stunning Weichmalerei Vase

This is a stunning vase made by KPM in the early 20th century during the Art Nouveau / Jugendstil period. The piece is hand painted with some very detailed and naturalistic flowers in the Weichmalerei style. The softer tones of this style make for extremely superb floral designs and the raised gold trim designs just make these extra elegant pieces! The vase has a thin neck with a small opening of about 1 inch on the inside, a nice foot with some gold trim to it and the main body has two different floral designs with the superb gold trim. There is some slightly greenish ground color to the very top of the main body where it meets the neck and some off white ground right under that with the rest of the vase being white. The top edge and the foot also have a slightly yellow ground color (not restoration!). Really an amazing and elegant piece and a bit bigger than many pieces I ahve previously owned which is nice. It is 7.75 inches tall and 4 inches in diameter. The vase is in perfect condition. The bottom is marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter as well as the red orb mark and the usual impressed marks from this period. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
