Early 19th Century Saucer

This is a really nice saucer made by KPM in the early 19th century during the Biedermeier period. Reminds me more of the Sorgenthal pieces of Vienna than KPM. A really nice design in blue and gold with the blue along the rim being matte instead of shiny and I also really like that gold scale design along the inner edge of the rim. A stunning design! The piece was made before they used their red orb mark thus you only have the blue scepter and impressed marks / painter's mark which is the case here. The saucer is in great condition with just some very minor wear and some use marks. It is just over 1 inch tall and 5.375 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter mark as well as two painter's / gilder's marks and some impressed numbers as shown. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $299
