Seger Oxblood Vase

This is a vase made by Seger around 1900. It is superbly hand painted with their famous and very rare oxblood glaze in mostly red with a bit of white and light blue. An amazing glaze! The narrow section on top before it gets wider has a ridge design to it which is why the white and red glze form those lines around the neck. Really fun! The vase is in great condition with a tiny bit of glaze crazing which is normal in these pieces because of the very thick glaze and a hairline to the top as shown. It is stable and does not show when on display. It is marked underneath with the SgrP und the scepter in underglaze blue as well as some incised numbers and letters. The vase is 5.125 inches tall and 2.5 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $599
