Seger Glaze Soap Dish

This is a very nice oval shaped dish made by KPM in the early 20th century. Not sure what this was original intended to be used as (maybe a saucer of some kind?) but it would work superbly as a soap or trinket dish or anything else you can think of. Unusual in that is is painted with one of the Seger glazes with a darker under color and light top color that cracks and reveals the darker color underneath. Gold trim to the edge. Seger glazed pieces are hard to find and they look amazing! The piece is in great condition with a minor touch of wear to the gilding. It is just over 1 inch tall, 6 inches wide and just over 4.25 inches deep. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter, the red orb as well as the usual impressed marks as shown. Price is $249
