Schuetz Relief Vase

This is a nice vase made by KPM around the mid 20th century. The vase is called a Harvest Vase and it is made of unglazed biscuit porcelain on the outside and glazed on the inside so it can hold water. The outside has a superb design depicting different people at harvest time. A man holding wheat over his head, a lady with a baby and a lady holding wheat in her arms as well as some other smaller motifs. This is really a superb design and a very popular one for this period - it was designed first in 1933 by Siegmund Schütz . The vase is 8.50 inches tall and 5.5 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with the blue scepter, the initials of Siegmund Schuetz as well as a number 34 and a date mark though I cannot figure out which date this one represents. It is in perfect condition! Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $249
