Schoolgirl Figurine

This is a superb and quite rare figurine of a little girl made by KPM in the early 20th century. Superbly modeled and hand painted in the typical Art Nouveau / Jugendstil style of the period. I actually cannot find this model but she is similar to the school girl designed by Martin Fritzsche that is a bit more common. The colors are amazing and the piece seems to be the answer by them to the Meissen Hentschel children . The piece has the initials / monogram PS impressed into the base for the designer but I am unsure of who this is. A little help would be appreciated as always. It likely stands for either Paul Scheurich or Paul Schley both of which did pieces in this style. The model is not even in the book of the Broehan Museum in Berlin which has most of these pieces in it. Either way - the little girl stand shyly looking down on a simple round base wearing a nice dress with her hands behind her back and a large pink bow in her hair. The figure is in perfect condition. The figurine is 7.75 inches tall, 2.75 inches wide and 2.75 inches deep. It is marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter, the red orb as well as the usual impressed numbers and marks and some painter's marks as shown. First choice piece. Not a piece you will see again anytime soon! Please email me for more information or other pictures.
