Scheurich Cherub Riding Dolphin Figurine

This is really nice and large blanc de chine figurine first modeled by Paul Scheurich in the mid 20th century and this piece is from around then if I read the date code correctly. Part of the " birth of beauty " series, I believe, it is of a malecherub riding a dolphin with water underneath. A truly superb figure to look at and very typical of his work! Very well modeled with lots of detail and left in the white to show it all off. The figurine is in perfect condition. It is 8 inches tall, 6.5 inches deep and 4.375 inches wide. It is marked with the under glaze blue scepter mark as well as the usual impressed marks of the period as shown. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
