Scheurich Birth of Beauty Figurine #2

This is really nice and large blanc de chine figurine first modeled by Paul Scheurich in the early 1940's and made by KPM in 1943 if I read the date code correctly. Part of the " birth of beauty " series it is of a male putto riding a dolphin with water underneath while holding a bit of greenery in his arms. A truly fun figure to look at and very typical of his work! Very well modeled with lots of detail and left in the white to show it all off. The figurine is in perfect condition. It is 8.5 inches tall, 6.25 inches deep and 5.5 inches wide. It is marked with the under glaze blue scepter mark as well as the usual impressed marks of the period as shown.
