KPM Royal Vienna Style Dish

This is a large footed dish made by KPM in the early 20th century. Not sure what this is meant to be but it could be a large serving dish, fruit bowl or even a jadiniere for flower. The piece is decorated in the Royal Vienna style with a nice large hand painted scene to the front including two ladies (one semi nude ) sitting in a chariot pulled by four leopards, two more ladies with wings flying above as well as three more ladies. Nice quality scene of an unusual subject. The backside has a nice hand painted floral arrangement to it with the rest of the main body having a maroon ground color that is quite nice with some fancy gilding over it some of which is raised. The part right under that bulges out a bit and has a light yellow ground color to it with some ncie gilding to it as well as little raised blue " jewels ". The bottom is fully gilded and it sits on four feet. Bit more gold trim to the top and some nice single flowers to the inside rim as well as a larger flower on the inside bottom. A really nice but unusual piece. The dish is in good condition but there is some wear to the gilding mainly on the one side as shown which is a bit odd and along the top edge. A couple of the raised blue jewel dots are missing One of the feet on the side has a chip to the side and the foot on the other side has chips to either side of it as shown. The dish is rather large being 5.25 inches tall, 11.5 inches wide and 8.125 inches deep. The piece is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter mark as shown (first choice) and the usual impressed marks but no red orb mark which probably means it was outside decorated. A nice looking and nice sized dish! Please email me for more information or other pictures.
