Nobleman Saucer

This is a saucer made by KPM around 1825. It is handpainted with something that looks like a part of a royal coat of arms with a crown in the center two feathers on the sides and an arrow design over that. The writing underneath states: C.v. Kleist seinem Carl Cuenzer. The von Kleist family was a noble family I believe that ended up producing the famous Leopold Graf von Kleist who became the captain of the famous Regiment der Garde du Corps which was the personal guard of Kaiser Wilhelm I, Kaiser Friedrich III, and Kaiser Wilhelm II. The crown has seven tips and thus is the one for a Freiherr (Baron). The saucer is just superb with rings of gold trim and a pearl like design. It is in perfect condition with a teeny bit of gold wear. The saucer is 1 inch tall and 6.375 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter from about 1810-1830.
