Round Reticulated Floral Basket #2

This is a reticulated basket made by KPM in the early 20th century. The entire side wall is reticulated with relief flowers and leaves to the intersections along the outside, pink trim to the bottom edge and a handle to each side with a pink band to them and some gold highlights. Applied flowers (pink and blue) growing out of the terminals of the handle. The bottom inside has a nice polychrome hand painted flower arrangements to it with a bit of gold trim along the edge. Gold trim to the top edge of the rim. It's a very nice quality piece that looks superb! The basket is in great condition with a few very minor scratches to the white area and one petal of one of the applied flowers coming off the handle terminal is chipped. It is marked underneath with the under glaze scepter mark as well as the red orb mark, some black numbers and letters as well as the usual impressed marks and a painter's mark as shown. The piece is 2.5 inches tall without the handles (they add just under an inch in height), 7.75 inches wide and 7.125 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $599
