Really Nice Small Tureen

This is a really nice small lidded tureen made by KPM in 1913 for their 150 year anniversary. It is hand painted with two large flower arrangements on the lid as well as the main body, has a basket weave design to the edge, a couple of butterflies on the lid, two small flowers under the handle of the main body and a bit of gold trim but the best parts have to be the handles with the applied leaves and flowers to the ends and that figural finial. The figure on top is of a putto holding some grapes. Just a really nice terrine and it is smaller than the usual ones and thus easier to display. The main body is arked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter mark as well as the over glaze red KPM orb mark showing it was painted by KPM, their anniversary mark and the usual impressed and painted on marks of the period as shown. The lid also has some black marks to the underside. The piece including lid and finial is about 8.25 inches tall and 8 inches in diameter with the handles sticking out a bit from there. Both pieces are in perfect condition. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $599
