Superb Reticulated Basket

This is one of the nicest reticulated baskets I have ever seen made by KPM in the early 20th century. It has a really nice quatrefoil shape to it with some amazing reticulation work along the sides and a handle to each end. There is a panel to each side with a nice floral garland to the inside and a rose bud design to the outside as well as a lot of nice gold trim along the reticulation. My favorite part is that amazing large scene in the center of an arrangement of roses and their leaves in different stages of bloom. Along the bottom edge is a gold trim design with lots of tiny raised dots that look to be orange Seger glaze jewels under a magnifying lens. The basket is in perfect condition. The piece is 2.25 inches tall with the handles, 9.125 inches wide and 5.875 inches deep. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter mark as well as the red orb as well as the usual impressed and painter's mark as shown. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $999
