Putti Snuff Box

This is a rare porcelain snuff or tabacco box made in the Art Nouveau period by KPM around 1900. The top of the lid has a scene of two putti in a cloud surrounded by a superb gold trim on it. The bottom of the box as well as the front, back and inside lid have a superb floral design in the Weichmalerei style using softer colors handpainted on them as well as some more superb gold trim. The inside bottom of the box also has a nice gold trim on it. The box is marked on the inside side with the underglaze blue scepter - first quality. These boxes would not have a red orb since it takes away from the design! The metal is probably bronze which has a very nice design to it. The box is in perfect condition and is just over 3 inches wide, 1.5 inches tall and 2 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
