Purple Ground Bird Scene Saucer

This is a nice saucer made by KPM in the early 20th century. The saucer has a really nice pinkish / purple ground color to it with two superb hand painted bird scenes in white ground panels surrounded by a fancy orange and black scroll trim, some nice gold flowers and a bit of a gold trim to the edge. I ahve not seen this pattern before but it is superb! The quality of the bird scenes is top and it is nice to have three birds in each scene! The dish is in perfect condition with just a very minor touch of wear right around the well. Sadly I do not ahve the cup and it will be a rough one to find but the saucer is well worth owning by itself! The piece is 0.875 inches tall with a diameter of 5.75 inches. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter as well as the red orb mark, some impressed marks, black numbers and painter's / gilder's marks as shown. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $349
