Potsdamer Stadtschloss Saucer

This is a demitasse saucer made by KPM in the early 20th century. The piece is hand painted with the Potsdamer Stadtschloss decor with two panels including a floral arrangement as well as some smaller flowers along side and alternating panels with a flowering branch design in gold. Then there are the designs that break up the panels that have some superb gold work some of which is on a raised design to the paste with a beige background color. Hard to explain so have a look at the pictures! The gold work is amazing and makes this a stunning little dish. Sadly no cup but I'll work on that :) One finds plates from this design from time to time but the other peices are quite hard to come by! The saucer is in perfect condition. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter mark as well as the over glaze red KPM orb mark showing it was painted by KPM and the usual impressed and artist's marks as shown. The piece is 0.625 inches tall and 4.375 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $199
