Potsdamer Stadtschloss Reticulated Plate #3

This is a superb reticulated plate made by KPM in the early 20th century. It is decorated with the Potsdamer Stadtschloss decor with this being the reticulated version which is much harder to find than the regular plates. The piece is hand painted with a nice larger floral arrangement including a purple anemone blossom in the center as well as floral garlands along the edge of the well and alternating panels of reticulated panels and panels with a gold flowering twigs design. The reticulated panels are superb with lots of detail to the edges and then there are the designs that break up the panels that have some superb gold work some of which is on a raised design to the paste and go into the well of the plate. The gold work is amazing and makes this a stunning plate! The plate is in perfect condition. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter mark as well as the over glaze red KPM orb mark showing it was painted by KPM and the usual impressed and painter's / gilder's marks as shown. The plate is 1.25 inches tall and 10.25 inches in diameter so the larger version of these plates! Please email me for more information or other pictures.
