Pheasant Scene Plate #2

This is a superb Art Nouveau period plate made by KPM in the early 20th century. The plate is hand painted with a large bird which I believe is a type of pheasant in a landscape surrounding with a smaller bird in the background. The rim is decorated in the Jugendstil style with raised gold scrolls and a slightly greenish ground color between the scrolls which is hard to see in the pictures. A truly superb plate and it is in perfect condition. The piece is 1.125 inches tall and 9.75 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter as well as the red orb mark as well as a gilder's mark and the usual impressed marks of the period.
