Royalty Dessert Plate

This is a plate made by KPM in 1914 for the personal use of Kaiser Wilhelm II and his first wife Augusta. A nice made piece with the rim having a basket weave design to it called the Osier relief with three single flowers hand painted on it and a gold trim to the edge. The center of the plate has a hand painted floral arrangement in it with the main flower being a pansy blossom )which I like and have a few in the garden) as well as three butterflies. A very elegant plate with a nice provenance. The plate is in perfect condition. It is 1 inch tall and has a diameter of just under 8.25 inches. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter, the red orb as well as some artist marks and impressed marks common to these pieces. And off course the WA under a crown and the year 1914 under that. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $499
