Oyster Plate

This is a very rare oyster plate made by KPM in the eary 20th century. These are extremely ahrd to find and look really nice. It has 6 wells around the outside, one for the sauce in the center and a large one in the front for the lemon pieces maybe. The piece has lots of molded details to it and is hand painted with their blue onion design in under glaze blue. A stunning piece that displays perfectly but does have a restoration to the underside foot and to one of the shell pieces sticking out between the wells as shown. The dish is 1.375 inches tall, just under 9.5 inches wide and 10.125 inches long. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter mark, a blue painter's mark and an impressed mark I cannot quite make out. The under glaze blue pieces did not have the red orb mark so no worries there! Please email me for more information or other pictures.
