Scheurich Nude Lady Figurine

This is a superb large and stunning figurine made by KPM in the early 20th century during the Art Nouveau / Jugendstil period. She was first designed by Paul Scheurich in 1918 and this piece here is from 1919 so from the original period which is always extra nice. The pieec is called "Ruhende" which means resting showing a nude lady resting comfortably wearing just a small clother in her right hand over her right knee and two sandals with bows tied to the top. This is a very large figure that you don't see often and it is very stunning! The figure is in great condition with just some very minor firing spots normal to these large pieces. This is from the manufacturing process and normal thus it is still deemed a first choice piece! The figure is about 8.75 inches tall, 6.875 inches wide and about 15 inches long. It is marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter as well as the usual impressed numbers and marks normal to this period as shown. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
