Amazing Nude Lady Bust

This is a large and superb figural bust of a nude lady made by KPM in the 20th century. The piece was first designed by Siegmund Schütz in about 1951 and is titled Nausikaa and she looks to be from the early years around when she was first designed though the date code is hard to figure out. The figurine is of a lady with a cloth over her head, her bust exposed with her hands folded in front of her. The piece was first designed by Siegmund Schütz in about 1951 and is titled Nausikaa (a character in Homer's Odyssey - she was the daughter of King Alcinous and Queen Arete of Phaeacia). It is superbly modeled and rather large piece that is stunning. The figure is in perfect condition. The figurine is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter mark as well as the usual impressed marks of the period. The figure is 12.25 inches tall, 5.5 inches deep and 7.5 inches wide.
