Large Neuzierat Plate #2

This is a great plate made by KPM in the early 20th century. It is hand painted with a floral arrangement in the center as well as three floral arrangements on the rim with three small flowers in between. An amazing raised gold trim in between the flowers and along the rim with a nicely shaped edge. This style of design is called Neuzierat and it is quite popular even today and these larger plates are quite hard to find! The plate is marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter mark as well as the red orb and the usual painter's and impressed marks of this period along with the Made in Germany in a rectangle in red used around the early years of the 20th century. The piece is in great condition with a little wear to the gilding. The plate is 1 inch tall and 8.625 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
