Neuzierat Cup & Saucer

This is a superb cup and saucer made by KPM in the early 20th century. The design is called Neuzierat and this is the version with the spaces between the raised design and the rims left white and not fully gilded. The set is hand painted superbly with two larger floral arrangements and two small flowers and has a superb raised gold trim in between. Nice handle shape with a bit of gilding and a fancy gold trim to the inside edge of the cup. Both are marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter mark as well as the red orb, a gilder's and painter's mark and the usual impressed marks as shown. The cup & saucer are in perfect condition. The saucer is 1.125 inches tall and 5 inches in diameter. The cup is 2.375 inches tall with a diameter of 2.5 inches.
