Neuzierat Creamer #2

This is hard to find milk pot / creamer / jug / pitcher made by KPM in the early 20th century. It is hand painted with two high quality large floral arrangements - one on either side - as well as two smaller flowers and an amazing raised gold trim. Nice shape to the handle which is also highlighted with gilding and it sits on three little feet with more gilding to them. The piece is in superb condition with a touch of wear to the gilding along the top edge. The piece is 4.125 inches tall including the handle, 3.625 from handle to spout and and 2.75 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter as well as the usual impressed marks and it used to have the red orb mark as well but it was sanded off for whatever reason and only a tiny piece of red remains. One can see by the quality and style of the flowers that it was painted by KPM so that is no worry at all. No idea why anyone wanted to do this except to maybe make it appear older than it is??
