Neuer Palais Scenic Plate

This is a superb plate made by KPM in the early 20th century. It is hand painted with a scene of the park around the New Palace near Sanssouci in Potsdam ( Parklandschaft beim Neuen Palais )in the center showing a partial view of the Neues Palais with the gardens in the front with a few nice single flowers scattered throughout the rest of the plate and a basketweave rim with gold trim to the edge. The plate is 1.25 inches tall and 9.75 inches in diameter. It is in perfect condition. It is marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter mark, the red orb mark, the usual other marks normal to this period as well as the name of the scene in the front in black.
