Bird Scene Coffee Pot

This is a superb small coffee pot made by KPM in the early 20th century. An extremely nice design with a rare decoration. The pot is handpainted with two high quality large scenes of bords in a landscape surrounding, a nice gold trim on raised designs and a turquoise trim to the top of the pot and sides of the lid. Some nice smaller scattered flowers in between. The lid has two small bird scenes, some scattered flowers and a nice floral finial. A really nice and unusual pot! About as superb a piece as you can find from KPM of this period! The piece is in perfect condition which always helps :) It is 7.75 inches tall and 3.75 inches in diameter. Marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter, the red orb mark as well as a painter' s and a gilder's mark and the usual impressed marks pieces of this period have.
