Mamor Palais Scenic Plate

This is a superb plate made by KPM in the early 20th century. It is hand painted with a scene of the Marmorpalais ( Marble Palace )in the city of Potsdam in the center surrounded by a nice landscape including water, trees and bushes and even some birds flying above. A few nice single flowers scattered throughout with a basketweave rim and a gold trim to the edge. The plate is 1.25 inches tall and 9.75 inches in diameter. It is in perfect condition. It is marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter mark, the red orb mark, the usual other marks normal to this period as well as the name of the scene in the front in black - Marmorpalais Potsdam.
