Art Nouveau Soup Bowl

This is a very rare and nice soup bowl / plate made by KPM in the early 20th century. It is handpainted with three superb Art Nouveau or Jugendstil irises that are painteed in a translucent raised purple enamel likely one of the Seger colors and then highlighted with gilding all surrounded by a raised gold design likely meant to be the Art Nouveau interpretation of leaves :) Nice gold trim to the rim edge and the edge of the center bowl. I ahve never seen this patterns before and it is just superb! The raised enamel effect does not show well in the pictures but it is stunning and quite proper for this period in porcelain. The piece is in perfect condition! It is 1.625 inches tall and 9.375 inches in diameter. The plate is marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter, the red orb mark, a gold painters mark and the usual impressed marks of the period which are a bit hard to see. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
