Lidded Tureen

This is a lidded tureen made by KPM in the beginning of the 20th century. It is handpainted with two large flower arrangements on the lid as well as the main body. These are superbly done to say the least. Nice relief trim to the rim areas as well as branch, leaf and berry handles. Marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter mark as well as the overglaze red KPM orb mark showing it was painted by KPM. There is an incised line underneath the red orb mark which I read somewhere represented painting by a not yet fully trained new painter! The piece including lid is about 9 inches tall and 9.5 inches in diameter. The tureen as well as the lid are in perfect condition. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
