Large Neuzierat Fruit Scene Serving Dish

This is a superb large serving dish or fruit basket / bowl made by KPM in the early 20th century during WWI. A superbly modeled piece of a very nice size perfect for use in your kitchen or dining room as well as for display. The piece is hand painted with an amazingly detailed fruit scene in the center including an apple, plums and white currents plus the rim itself is painted with gold on a raised design. A handle at each end to help with holding it when full. The scene is quite large covering almost the entire bottom inside. The piece is in perfect condition with some very very minor wear. The dish is 15 inches wide, 9.375 inches deep and 3.25 inches tall. It is marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter, the red orb mark, the black iron cross as well as the usual painter's / gilder's and impressed marks for this period.
