Kurland Decor 73 Platter

This is a large serving platter or wall plate in the Kurland pattern Decor 73 made by KPM in the 20th century. It is one of my favorite patterns and looks very stunning when in use or on display. Hard to get these serving dishes in the open market. The piece is hand painted with a superb floral arrangement in the center as well as three butterflies and a tiny leaf to hide a manufacturing flaw. Another butterly closer to the rim ad off course the greenish / turquoise & gold trim along the edge typical of this pattern and decor. The dish in superb condition with some minor wear to the gilding along the outside edge. It is marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter as well as the red orb as well as the usual impressed and painted marks of this period as shown. The platter is just over 1.5 inches tall with a diameter of just under 14 inches. Quite large and very elegant! Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $999
