Kurland Serving Dish

This is a pedestal plate , serving dish , tazza , compote or whatever you want to call it from the famous Kurland service made by KPM in the 20th century. Descrobed as the low version as there is also one with a talled pedestal. The Kurland service is one of the best and most popular services of the 20th century and a personal favorite of mine. Here we have the version simply with a gold trim which is why it has the green orb mark instead of the red. The top plate has a nice shape to it with a relief design to the well, a reticulated edge with the typical Kurland swags in it and a gold trim to the edge. It sits on top of a base with a really nice design to it easier seen that described so have a look at the pics. The piece is in perfect condition! The piece is 3.875 inches tall and has a diameter of 9.375 inches. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter, the green orb as well as the usual impressed and artist marks of the period as shown. The white version new costs about 1300 Dollars these days. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $399
