Kurland Service Candlesticks

This is a rare pair of cnadlesticks from the famous Kurland service made by KPM in the late 20th century. This is one of the best and most popular services of the 20th century and a personal favorite of mine. The pair is decorated in the Decor 73 with the turquoise ground color under the golden garlands all around the base. Each has a floral arrangement to the top of the base on two sides and a bug / butterfly on the two others. The column has alternating white and turquoise colored sections and there is a bit of gold trim to the edges as well. Really a stunning pair of candleholders and not one you see often at all. The set is in perfect condition. They are just under 8.5 inches tall and about 3.5 inches at the widest part of the base. Each is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter, the red orb as well as the usual artist marks of the period. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $799
