Royal Floral Plate

This is a plate made by KPM in 1910 for the personal use of Kaiser Wilhelm the Second. The rim has a basketweave design to it with a superbly gilded motif on it and the inside bowl has a large handpainted floral arrangement in it with four smaller ones on the edge. Superb quality and shape! What makes this piece special besides being a nicely done piece is the fact that it was made for royalty and has the Kaiser's personal monogram on the back! The plate is in perfect condition. It is 1.5 inches tall and has a diameter of 9.5 inches. It is marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter, the red orb as well as some artist marks and impressed marks common to these pieces. And off course the WR under a crown and the year 1910 under that. Also an old Christie's sticker that shows these were once part of the Royal Prussian Collection!
