Art Nouveau Seated Lady Figurine

This is a very large and rare figurine made by KPM in the early 20th century during the Art Nouvea / Jugendstil period. A truly amazing figure of an elegant lady sitting in a nice chair. She is wearing a fancy gown with what looks to be a white fox fur stole around her neck and a fan of ostrich feathers in her right hand. The left hand is holding a yellow floral arrangement placed on her hip. Elegant gold dotted shoes with light blue in the center. The belt around her waste has a white and gold design to it. The chair is superb as well with lots of "carved" details to it and the seat cover has a gold design to it. The base is quite typical of this period with a nice shape to it with a gold ring design along the edge and seger enamel "jewels" to the corners. The entire piece is hand painted in the rare under glaze colors of this period. It is a stunning figure and I cannot find another example of it so definitely not something you'll come across again anytime soon. The figure is in perfect condition. The figure is about 13.5 inches tall and the base is 9.5 inches wide and 8.25 inches deep. It is marked underneath with the blue scepter, the red orb (it should be marked with the blue orb for under glaze colors) as well as the usual impressed and incised marks as well as painter's marks from this period as shown. First choice which is amazing for a piece of this and highly unusual. The piece is very ehavy! Please email me for more information or other pictures.
