Jewelled Saucer

This is a very rare saucer made By KPM around 1900 in the Art Nouveau period and style. It is hand painted with raised enamel colors ( like little jewels ) of light blue and red as well as white with a superb gold trim and a cobalt blue ground color along the rim. The quality of this piece is stunning I just wish I had the cup but it's out there somewhere looking for its mate :) The saucer is in great condition with a tiny bit of wear to the gilding concentrated on the two thin gold lines around the central medallion in the well as shown. The saucer is 1.25 inches tall and 5.375 inches in diameter. Marked with the underglaze blue scepter mark, the red orb, a gilder's mark and the usual impressed marks of the period. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $499
