Jewelled Luster Color Plate

This is a really amazing Art Nouveau / Jugendstil plate made by KPM in the early 20th century. It is hand painted with a nice gold design that includes two different designs along the rim. One has a set of seven white raised jewels in the center that look a bit like white opals and a tiny blue raised jewel below and the other has three thin columns that each have one raised jewel near the top. The edge has a raised gold design to it with the space in between filled with this amazing purple luster color. Hard to descibe it so have a look at the pictures. It is stunning! The center has a medallion in it with moore raised jewels and gold trim and some of the luster color as well. One of the nicest plates of this type I have seen. The piece is in perfect condition with just some very minor age related marks. The plate is 0.875 inches tall and just under 10.5 inches in diameter so fairly large! The plate is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter and their red Made in Germany mark as well the usual impressed marks of the period. It is a first choice piece so I am not sure why it does not ahve the red orb mark but it might be because it is a Seger porcelain piece which did not have the red orb mark. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
