Autumn Plate

This is a plate made by KPM in 1917. It was handpainted in the Art Nouveau or Jugendstil style with a scene of a birch tree by a river in a bog type area. The rim is nicely done as well not being the boring old kind but a bit wavy. The plate is in perfect condition. It is 7.75 inches in diameter and marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter, the red orb mark, the black iron cross of the first world war, the number 50/39 in black, two artist marks, the impressed letter R with three dots around it and another impressed mark that might be S1. Also the title Herbst im Moor in black which means Autumn in the bog. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $499
