Angora Guinea Pig Figurine

This is a superb angora guinea pig figurine made by KPM in the early 20th century during the Art Nouveau period when they were first designed by Wilhelm Carl Robra whose intitials are faintly impressed between the front paws of the adult! This rare figurine is super cute with the mom or dad being played on by two little ones. Superbly modeled and colored with underglaze brown tones this is one great piece to have in your collection! The underglaze colors are pretty unique to this period for KPM. The piece is in perfect condition. The figure is 4 inches tall, 3.5 inches wide and 6 inches long. The figure is marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter and orb as well as 140/558 and B. in pink and the usual impressed marks as shown.
