King of the Geese Figurine

This is a figurine called "Der Gänsekönig" originally designed by Ruth Schaumann made by KPM in the mid 20th century. I do believe this is from a popular children's story about the goose king. The figurine is very large, modeled with lots of detail and left in the white to show it all off. I am not sure this piece even exists in color as I have never seen it. The figure is of a young man sitting on a block wearing a loose robe, wearing a crown made of goose feathers while holding two geese in his hands. One of the geese is standing next to him white the other goose is sitting on the side of his lap. Simple oval base. The figure is in perfect condition. It is about 12.75 inches tall, 8.5 inches wide and 5.875 inches deep. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter mark as well as the usual impressed marks typical to this period as shown. The back of the block he is sitting on has the initials RS incised into it for the designer of this piece. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
