Funny Pekinese Dog Figurine

This is a fun dog figurine made by KPM in the 20th century. The figure was originally designed by Tommi Parzinger in 1927 with the model number 12885. He also designed 3 other similar dogs. Tommi Parzinger was born in 1903, he left Germany in 1935 for the USA and founded a business for furniture and died in 1981 in NY City. Looks to be a Pekinese dog that had to slow down too much before hitting a wall and the back legs and body is up in the air :) Nicely modeled and painted and a joy to look at. The little guy is 2.75 inches tall, 2.875 inches long and 1.75 inches wide. The figure is marked underneath with an underglaze blue scepter mark, a red orb, some sort of impressed mark and a black artist mark and numbers as shown. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $399
