Frederick the Great Stopper

This is a figural bottle stopper made by KPM in the late 20th century. A really nice piece that is more well balanced than the ones with a cork attached and probably longer lasting as well. The top is formed by a miniature bust of Frederick the Great ( Friedrich II ) - King of Prussia from 1740 to 1786. The bottom is a metal cone shaped piece with a rubber piece in the center to seal the bottle more securely. The piece is in perfect condition! Marked in the back with the under glaze blue KPM under a scepter modern mark as shown. The porcelain part is 3.375 inches tall, 2 inches wide and 1.375 inches deep. The metal part is an additional 2.375 inches long and it is 0.875 inches in diameter at the top. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $299
